What you'll build
Control three LEDs in a real traffic-light sequence.
Before you start
You'll learn: Using several pins in a fixed sequence — timed states, one after another.
You'll finish: A working model traffic light cycling red → green → yellow on pins 8, 9 and 10.
Real world: Real intersections, railway signals and airport runway lights all run on timed states like this.
Then try: Add a pedestrian crossing light, or time it for a busy taxi rank vs. a quiet street.
Who does this: Traffic systems technician or civil engineering technologist — TVET or a civil engineering degree.
